Andreas Hatzigeorgiou new President and CEO of Projektengagemang

Projektengagemang Sweden AB’s (publ) board of directors has appointed Andreas Hatzigeorgiou as new President and CEO. Andreas is currently the CEO of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce and adjunct faculty at the KTH Royal Institute of Technology School of Architecture and the Built Environment. Andreas will assume his new role during the third quarter of 2024.

Andreas Hatzigeorgiou currently holds the position of CEO of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce and is, among other roles, the chairman of Swedish Chambers International and a council member of ICC Sweden. Andreas is also an adjunct faculty at the School of Architecture and the Built Environment, KTH Royal Institute of Technology, where his research explores aspects of urbanization and urban development with a focus on sustainability, new technology, infrastructure, and digitalization.

Andreas Hatzigeorgiou’s previous assignments include the Ministry for Foreign Affairs and the World Bank's headquarters in Washington DC. He holds a PhD in Economics with degrees from institutions including the University of Michigan in the USA and Lund University.

The current acting President and CEO, Liselotte Haglind, will continue to lead the group until Andreas Hatzigeorgiou assumes the position. After this, she will return to her previous role as CFO.

With her extensive experience in the construction industry and as a leader in consultancy organizations, Liselotte is highly valuable to the group. Both in ensuring a smooth transition until Andreas Hatzigeorgiou assumes the role of new President and CEO, and in her key role as the group's CFO, concludes Per-Arne Gustavsson.
